The new concept gives travelers a visual encounter with Norway. National icons, nature, culture and business lifted up, and on June 18 launched “Portal Norway» Oslo Airport.
The modern Norway
The Norway profiling installation, created by Avinor and Innovation Norway, will create a surprising and expressive face with our country.
– The Traveler first experience of the country and the airport is unique and different, says CEO Dag Falk-Petersen Avinor.
The passengers coming from abroad will in future be welcomed by a 3D animation of images, light and sound. The portal will present modern Norway and give the travelers a taste of what they can expect.
– We create valuable relationships, linking Norway together and Norway with the world. We want to communicate, says Falk-Petersen.
Animation
For the new greeting is used award-winning and creative environments to present Norway in a new and fresh manner. The core of the visual expression is an animated film in two minutes with music by the internationally renowned composer Nils-Petter Molvær.
– We have created a new presentation, a new expression and hope results fall in good taste. We think this will create curiosity while providing a new and modern idea of what Norway has to offer, says CEO Anita Krohn Traaseth in Innovation Norway.
Around one million travelers will pass installation every month.
More cities
Traaseth think the new concept will reinforce work on a more comprehensive profiling of Norway.
– The national brand strategy for Norway as a tourist destination built on nature, culture, technology and innovation. The fact that we now also get an image of Norway on these surfaces, which are some of the most attractive builds a clearer position for Norway, says Krohn Traaseth.
During September will also concept be rolled out in Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. (ANB)
