Telenor began some time ago to roll out what’s called VoLTE (Voice over LTE) – or 4G Voice, which they themselves reviewing technology. With 4G Voice you get significantly faster connection of calls – and the sound quality is also better.
Now join Telenor that users of Samsung Galaxy S7 in a short time will receive support for 4G voice on their cell phones. Recently also got iPhone 6, 6S, 6S Plus and SE support for 4G Voice – but to get it to work you have to do some updates.

Galaxy S7 has already received the required software update from Samsung, and VoLTE is turned on by default – so all you have to do is wait for the update from Telenor.
How to 4G Voice on iPhone
All the latest versions of iPhone supports 4G Voice, and Telenor is ready with this already. But here requires a little more active input from you until it works.
You must do this to enable 4G Voice on your iPhone:
- Check that your phone is updated to iOS 9.3.2. To do this, go to Settings, General, Update. Have there been any new versions of iOS since the last press Install Now .
- Visit the Settings, General, About . This allows the required operator settings that enable 4G Voice downloaded.
- You now need to turn on the 4G Voice. Go to Settings, Mobile Networks, Cellular Data Options, Enable 4G. Then select Voice and data from the list. By default, the only data to go over 4G.
