Removed from the blog competition to after image noise – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet): It’s Dagens Næringsliv first reviewing the reaction of blog award Vixen Blog Awards.

Communications Hans-Petter Nygård Hansen in Vixen jury has undertaken to examine how the state of advertising marking and the use of proprietary photographs of Norwegian blogs.

Nygård has found hundreds of cases of bloggers who use other people’s images, whether from other sites or pictorial agencies, on their own blogs without obtaining permission or pay remuneration .

Rapper pictures

– I was mildly shocked that so many in 2015 still did not seem to relate to neither markedsføring- or copyright law, says Nygård-Hansen a press release from Vixen, which in this year’s competition to have tightened the criteria to win the award.

Earlier Costume- and Elle editor Vanessa Rudjord, who now runs the blog Vanessa Rudjord Stylebook, is thus among bloggers with problematic imagery.

According to DN has Rudjord at least 24 blog posts used images without proper permission from the copyright owners, who are often international picture agencies like Getty or Splash.

Vixen editor Ida Einarsdottir confirms to Dagbladet that Rudjord is one of the bloggers who are now not proceeding from reader nominations to be semi-finalist award.

– Vanessa is a very clever writer who runs a super blog with lots of good content. From the reader’s side, she was nominated in several categories, but with this year’s criteria, one can not proceed with an extensive use of pictures you do not have rights to. It applies not only to Vanessa, but many other bloggers also says Einarsdottir.

– Made changes

In an email to DN responds Rudjord:

– I have not got with me the world’s largest photo agency, Getty Images, offers all bloggers access to a huge archive of free photos. There I was advised yesterday by Getty, and have therefore made changes and adapted to this blog. I am looking forward to the meeting I will have with Getty to week, where we will sit down and tailor a more comprehensive paid cooperation, which will hopefully set a precedent for other Norwegian bloggers in the minefield sharing culture on the Internet has become. My clear goal is to operate Norway both best and not least most professional blog.

With Rudjord as editor was Costume fields Press Complaints Commission (PFU) for discussion of clothing collections of Jenny Skavlan and Pia Tjelta , Rudjord personal friends.

Costume complaint was submitted and field for pressing images of Rudjord own apartment just before it was to be sold.

Dagbladet has so far not come into contact with Vanessa Rudjord.
