Tuesday November 10th was the launch of the post-apocalyptic game Fallout 4, and I had the honor of writing review. But the adventure has just begun.

Gameplay I am very pleased with, Bethesda has really taken a step further.

I’ve played the game for hours and have not even gotten around to Diamond City is the first part of the main quest!

I’ve just been dragged hither and thither by curiosity and things to do in the game. Fallout4 is set in Boston but will be in the game called “The Commonwealth”.

You are in the time before the great war that will destroy the contemporary United States. An emergency message that the Chinese attack comes on TV and you will have to evacuate to an underground bunker where you are frozen down. You wake up 200 years later and wanders off in a war-torn USA adventure.

Bethesda does a good job of getting it to look hideous out. Fallout has become more rich in detail and are virtually candy for the eye, but the new game will have a facelift, and this graphic is something one should expect from a 2015 game. I play on Playstation4 and seems that the graphics are nice. I have not experienced the game has glitches or Lagg. It’s always nice to not have bugs.

In the game you have the ability to upgrade weapons, armor and power armor. I’ve tried me a little forward and it is not so difficult, the beauty of it is that when you find weapons or clothing in the game that has a special effect for example. That rifle you can give extra damage to wild animals.

As you can upgrade the rifle as much as you want so that you keep extra effect. Otherwise you can make settlements where you can create small communities, build houses and start up shops. When it comes to building houses Bethesda envisaged that you can build almost anything anywhere

Gameplay I am very pleased with, Bethesda has really taken a step further. One could say that Fallaout now has an air of Call and Duty. When playing in first person as the control is much more effective just by giving missiles a separate button. In terms of Fallout 3 and New Vegas does not stop time in VATS, but going in slow motion.

I was taken aback a bit when I heard about this, but after trying a bit, I felt that this was a better solution because you have the ability to anticipate what the enemy is going to do. But do not take too long! It can be challenging with VATS in combat.

I’m very impressed with what Bethesda has produced, but I have yet much left to play. But so far it has been an exciting adventure in a gigantic fantasy world just waiting to be explored.
