- Apple makes it difficult with pro apps on iPad Pro – ITavisen.no

The developers are not fully satisfied.

Last week, Apple released the company’s tablet ever.

No trial
According to The Verge, there are several developers who complain about limitations in Apple’s guidelines which makes it difficult to make “pro” apps for iPad Pro.

First and foremost, it is a problem that the apps are too expensive while there is no trial version available.

– Sketch on Mac costs $ 99, and we dare not ask about $ 99 without having been tried it first. So in order to sell it on the App Store, we have to lower the price dramatically, says developer Pieter Omvlee to The Verge.

Expensive to maintain
Another thing is when developers supports a complex app over a longer period, help paid upgrades in the app it is possible to make it viable – something that is not supported by Apple on App Store.

– To maintaining apps are more expensive than to build it in the first place. When the first version of Paper, there were three people who worked on the project. Now there are 25 people and we are testing it at eight or nine different platforms in 13 different languages, says Georg Petscnigg in FiftyThree.
