You will not believe what Facebook removes Now – ITavisen.no

Finally an end to fool titles.

Tuesday, 26 August 2014 – 6:46

Are you tired of titles such as “look what happened when she lost her bra» , “You will not believe what’s happening here” and “they came late to his wedding – see why”?

Away with titillating titles
it many who are, according to Facebook.

Now, the social network clean up the flow of so-called “click bait” or articles with titillating titles trick you into reading something you really are not interested.

To help people
In a blog post that was posted last night Norwegian time stated the following:

Today we announce improvements in the flow of news to help people to find messages and links from sources that are most interesting. At the same time we will continue to weed out articles that people often tell us is spam and that they will not see.

Scientific basis
It is not only just assumptions behind Facebook’s new “click trap” -sensur.

They are actually scientifically to work.

Coming soon return
For example see the how long it goes from people click on a link with a titillating text until they come back to Facebook again.

This gives a good indication of how interesting the content was for the reader. Will she or he quickly returned, it indicates that the article was not what it pretended to be. And this happens often enough, it will be removed from the news feed.

Much reading, small alike
They will also look at the articles that are widely read but little alike (in the sense that few click “like”).

This is also a sign that it did not meet expectations and most likely is a fool article.

According to Facebook’s own user survey 80 percent prefer that the titles are designed in a way that tells them about the article is worth reading.

Badges tulle News
Facebook earlier this month said they also will mark links that go to pages that parody stock pile News, Budget The Onion and our domestic 5080.no.

Not infrequently it happens that people take such nonsense seriously and News spreading them further without understanding that it is a joke.
