Apple has found out that the batteries in some iPhone 5 models sold between September 2012 and January 2013 are of poor quality, and now offer free replacement batteries for all affected users.
According to Apple, some devices could suddenly get shorter battery life, or require charging more often than normal. It is not known how many units will be affected, but Apple writes “a very small percentage” on their websites.

Currently, only users in the United States and China can apply for a battery change, but already on 29 August, in Norway we also have the opportunity to switch.
