500 million Yahoo users was hacked – Adresseavisen

San Francisco: Based on what has come forward in the ongoing investigation, so guess Yahoo that information from at least 500 million user accounts was stolen, called it in a statement from the american IT-giant on Thursday.

There is an extensive hacker attacks that happened in 2014. Everything from names, email addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords were stolen. But according to the Yahoo has not hackers obtained credit card data and non-encrypted password.

Yahoo is working closely with the police in this matter, ” says the company.

the IT giant encourages users who are affected, to change the password. All users who have not changed the password since 2014, should do it for safety’s sake.
