Apple regretted this decision – ITavisen.no

“Launcher” is allowed to come back.

Wednesday, 18th March 2015 – 7:33 p.m.

iOS 8 app Launcher was banned in September last year. Now comes soon be back again.

Changes politics again
Apple struggles to define its own guidelines for which apps should be allowed to live, and those who must be drawn back.

So now, enough a widget app on the way back after being removed for a half years ago.

Launcher allows to create shortcuts to apps and contacts Alert Center. Functionality remains unchanged in version returns later today (direct link).

Will Google do a better job?
We hope there will be less and forth now Google has decided to pre-authorize all apps for good, after testing the Apple way of doing it in a few months.

The difference is that Google promises to spend hours and not days and weeks on approving apps.

It will probably matter less of a problem on the Android platform, there are the most law as opposed to closed iOS.
