The latest addition to the Xbox family – Xbox One S – will be launched on 2 August, Microsoft announced this week on its website. Norway is one of 25 countries which gets console first – a stark contrast from the launch of Xbox One, as Norwegians had to wait almost a whole year.

Xbox One S comes in three variants, with storage respectively 2TB, 1TB and 500GB. It is admittedly only the largest of the three ports in stores in early August, while dates for the two remaining copies will be announced at a later date.
Here in Norway costs 2TB model 3990 million and can be pre-ordered now from Microsoftstore.com or selected retailers.
40 percent less
Microsoft pulled the veil of the white Xbox One S console on its E3 conference for a month since. The machine is 40 percent smaller than the current Xbox One model, and dropping the external power brick for the benefit of a built-in variant. Additionally, Microsoft has moved one USB port to the front of the console, where it is also added to a receiver for infrared signals.
With the Xbox One S you can see the Blu-ray and video in 4K resolution, while “High Dynamic Range” support should provide a clearer and more realistic gaming experience.
Besides the console release Microsoft also has a new wireless controller, with grab hold and Bluetooth support. This is included in the Xbox One S package or can be purchased separately for 599 million.
Microsoft has multiple consoles on the way.
