According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple is in talks with Jay-Z for the acquisition of Tidal.

And it is certainly rapper pleased by bomkjøpet from Schibsted – the two ended up in a business dispute, in addition to that service has provided well enough in a market long before Tidal was dominated by Spotify and others.
Conversations between the two companies will be ongoing, but it is uncertain whether there will be any agreement.
Tidal did not want to answer some WSJ issues.
