Microsoft with a final attempt to get you to upgrade to Windows 10 – Tek.no

Do you have Windows 7 or 8.1, you have already experienced receiving the offer to upgrade to Windows 10 over the past 11 months. We are now in the last month before Windows 10 update stops being free, and you are tired of these reminders, you can have more to come.

Microsoft actually plan to give you a final reminder that you can upgrade at no cost, and it comes Deis onto your screen in full, according to the company itself.

29. July is the last chance

It’s the fact that on July 29th will be your last chance to ensure you upgrade without having to pay. Microsoft has already put up a hairy goal of getting a billion machines over to the new version.

It turns out, however, that there are still many who cling to Windows 7, though Microsoft periodically sent you a reminder.

– Sorry to disturb

The new warning starts with the text “Sorry to interrupt, but this is important. Free upgrade to Windows 10 will end on July 29th. ” Furthermore offers the company the sales pitch that the latest version of the operating system are the safest to date.

Meanwhile, it also pointed out that you can easily undo you and return to the Windows version you are already running within 31 days. Finally also confirms Microsoft that the entire 300 million have already chosen to upgrade.

Not everyone gets notified

However, it turns out that it is far from certain that you will receive the reminder. Microsoft rattles namely a number of cases where you are not going to see anything to the message:

  • If you have already installed “Get Windows 10″ app
  •

  • If you have previously chosen not to receive reminder again
  •

  • If the machine you are using is not compatible with the operating system
  •

  • If you have previously uninstalled Windows 10
  •

  • If you have tried to install the operating system and the operation failed so you went back to Windows 7 or 8.1
  •

  • If you have hidden “Get Windows 10″ app
  •

  • If you have turned off the Windows 10 upgrade, or have turned the offer messages on the screen
  •

Should you, however, go with plans to upgrade to Windows 10, so you should therefore get out finger.

After July 29, you have to pay, and you should have Windows 10 Home you must out with $ 119, or just around a thousand Norwegian kroner. Would you rather have the Pro version so does this $ 199, or about 1700 Norwegian kroner.

Rent everything “crapware” that comes with Windows 10?
To install single operating system without all the add “
