Removal of popular compression formats for video affects many of its users.
In the last major update to Windows 10 so removes Microsoft support for two major compression formats for video.
H.264 and MJPEG
They two formats were removed in patch that marked the first anniversary of Windows 10 are in use by many.
After the update is now millions of users who discover that their cameras no longer be used. Many also report, according to The Verge, that there are problems also with Microsoft’s own Skype.

Apparently H.264 and MJPEG removed because some applications now have more direct access to the webcam after the update.
Touches many users
There are cameras from major brands like Logitech who have problems now, but also applications that use these formats are now useless.
Vag statement
In a somewhat vague statement to Gizmodo said Microsoft that “Windows 10 has the highest customer satisfaction of any version of Windows.” They say further that they follow what they call unexpected behavior after the update and that they are working to investigate these and give tips to the wrong solution.
As of now therefore no official plan to reintroduce formats were removed. Thurrot.com reports, however, that an official fix may come in September to update.
