Memory is the next step
the next evolution in The Mikkelsens platform is called Memory. The point of the extension which is a part of Timely is that it comes with for you, in the background. That way you don’t have to manually keep track of your working hours.
By leaving the Memory lie in the bakrunnen on your Mac (a Windows version is under development), know the Memory that you are working in Word, write an e-mail or browsing and where you do it from (where you check in and are seen on the left side of the timeline, as shown in the picture below, the longest as he addresses north korea are to be found in the middle, while the smaller sessions, such as f.ex. surfing, is located on the right side).

We spoke with Mikkelsen who is currently in Norway during the launch: – Memory analyses all the data and what you have spent the time on. Memory is smart, and does not log the time when an application only is up, you need to actively work at it.
Memory-the timeline is not a separate app, but is built into the Timely. Memory is, in other words, as Timely, free to use for individuals, but is one two or more one must pay.
Timely is already to find to iOS, while an Android-beta-version also coming very soon.
The public beta-test of the Memory with the beta-registration has started.
Supports all
– Calendar, pages, apps, files, and GPS data – all the applications you use on your Mac and follow the Memory. Later, we will expand with e-mail support, they you are calling from your Android your phone, Skype calls, Google Hangouts – yes, everything. iPhone-calls are not supported due to Apple’s restrictions, but Apple Watch is already in place.
Mikkelen makes it clear that this is not designed to be sold to businesses. Data-one is yours, and only yours. When it is said, is an export feature to spreadsheet function list after we asked if it was in place.

Trond: What about security?
Mathias: – the Data is transmitted via SSL to the Timely which in turn is using Amazon Web Services, which is so secure one can get it. They have never been hacked as far as I know. They use the highest encryption and the highest ISO-standards – of all beings.
May be able to improve your workflow
Trond: – What do you hope users will get out of Memory?
Mathias: – That it works so well that they never ever need to take hours manually again. Millions upon millions of people must lead the time sheets and I will remove the task for all and every one: Let the robots do it. I also hope that people gain some insights into how they actually spend their day and maybe make some changes based on it. It did at least I am.
