Hyperloop-company Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) is establishing a research and development center in Toulouse, France, announced the company in a press release.
the Center will be called Hyperloop Development and Research Center (HDRC), and shall have a staff of 30 people.
These will develop the existing parts of the HTTs program, and to develop new ones, and form a new program of cooperation with educational organizations and forskningsforetak.
It also opens a kilometerlang test track for the Hyperloop here.
the Construction of the HDRC shall be started up in the course of the year.
Aerospace Valley
the Choice of Toulouse is not random. Here is the most important part of the european airline overall, and Toulouse is the core in the area called Aerospace Valley.
Here are 85 000 people related to the aviation industry, 12 000 affiliated in aerospace, 12 000 jobs in the automotive industry, and 38 000 in the IT industry. There is thus expertise here that HTT possibly can take advantage of.
Even think HTT that they will contribute heavy to the region’s economy and function as innovasjonshub.
the Company shall adopt the abandoned city Francazal.

the Hyperloop is a challenge to both the aviation and rail. The technology is basically built on the idea of sending capsules in the tube with a near vacuum.
it makes It possible to send the capsules in around 1200 kilometers an hour.
Dirk Ahlborn, ceo of HTT, said in the year to Teknisk Ukeblad that “Jernbaneindustrien in general is a dinosaurindustri”, and that the Hyperloop could revolutionize transportation of people and goods.
volunteer work
HTT is a crowd-sourced solutions company. It will say that they are not built up as a traditional company, but consists of voluntary, who contribute with competence on the community.
More than 800 ingeniørermed from different backgrounds are tied to the HTT. Some of these jobs at NASA and SpaceX, according to Wired. These get paid in the shareholdings in the company. HTT has only 30 full-time employees.
HTT has secured investments of over 100 million dollars (831 million. kr) in the form of equity and kind – in other words, companies that make parts for HTT for shares.
HTT have from before of the headquarters in California. They are one of two companies that have stuck out as particularly far forward in the evolution of the mode of transport.

the other is The Hyperloop One, formerly known as Hyperloop Technologies. They have been reasonably stated in his criticism of the HTT, and alleged that the HTT only driver with prat. Hyperloop One has already opened its first test facility.
HTT, however, should open their own test facility in Quay Valley in California to the public in the course of 2018, but they have so far not started the actual construction.
letter of Intent on the european Hyperloop
They have already signed an agreement to “explore” the construction of a Hyperloop between Brno and Bratislava in Slovakia. It is far from the signing of a memorandum of understanding to be able to travel down a Hyperloop, but if the plans are realised, the journey time between the cities is reduced from 90 to 10 minutes.
the Hyperloop will not only transport people faster, but also goods.

In an interview with Teknisk Ukeblad last year, said HTT ceo Dirk Ahlborn that he thinks Norway is an interesting market for the Hyperloop.
Norway is one of the countries in the world that raised the most in, and the norwegians are among those that fly the most often. I think, therefore, it is a very interesting country. You must plan your route well, and look at what is a reasonable cost, but it is not something that you would not have to deal with if you are thinking of other means of transport, such as high-speed trains, ” said Ahlborn.
Old concept

the Concept called the Hyperloop was first presented by Elon Musk. The original proposal is available on SpaceX’ website (PDF).
Elon Musk, however, can not be said to have invented the concept. It has been considered at least since 1914, when the Russian professor Boris Weinberg presented it in a book.
In the 1970s, was also the concept, the once called “vactrain”, up to the assessment, and in the 80′s was togsystemet Swissmetro suggested. This was to consist of the maglev-train sent in tunnels with low air pressure.
