Other also require compensation from gaming companies because of lost playing time.

Both Sony and Microsoft writes on social media that they are working to resolve the technical problems. None of the companies have so far wanted to comment on what is behind the problems, writes Reuters.

A hacker group calling itself Lizard Squad claims on a newly created Twitter profile that they are behind the attack, Reuters .

This is yet unconfirmed information. It is also unclear whether this group has an affiliation with the Guardians of Peace, the group that takes all the credit for the attack on Sony Pictures.

Little Christmas announced Sony Pictures that they still should show the controversial movie “The interview” , which originally was canceled after the terrorist threats from hackers.

The film was set up on sending the plan to several selected theaters in the United States. The comedy was also available on several online platforms like YouTube, Google Play and Microsoft Xbox Video. The plan was also to make the film available through the Playstation Network.

There is speculation the US media about the hack is because Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s Playstation was among network platforms that would stream movie online.
