When Osen would sit in his own car in Kong Oscars gate, he was assaulted and received a plastic strung over his head. In addition, he strips on the hands and feet and his mouth was taped.
Found shoe and shattered mobile
A few days before Christmas, police found parts of Osen cell phone and a shoe in terrain Hausdalen in Fana.
For the investigators, it was important to get localized place where Osen at some point was dragged out of the car.
There is little hope that traces of these objects can bring police any closer perpetrators. Due to heavy rainfall in December is footprint and biological material probably washed away for good.
Investigators, however, has greater hope that the robbers may have laid down DNA traces in the businessman’s van. It was combed by crime technicians for several days after the event, and some of the material shall be submitted to DNA experts at Folkehelseinstitittet.
DNA profiles takes time
– It made a Many studies. Overall I can say that it takes some time before we get an answer if we have secured DNA profiles, and so it is a question of whether we have something to compare them with, said police inspector Jannike Bremen Johannessen by violence section of BA.
In the second profile criminal cases have often taken 2-3 weeks before police received a reply from the NIPH. Now in Christmas has been somewhat quieter activity in Osen investigation.
