Here is the first ever Norwegian F-35 pilot on the wings – NRK

Last night also flew Thurs the 1st Norwegian aircraft factory in Fort Worth, Texas to Luke. The two planes will be used for training and education of the Norwegian F-35 pilots in the United States.

These historical milestones occurred on the same day as the Air Force marked its 71-year birthday.

Morten Hanche will be completed with education later in the winter and will then serve as instructor F-35 pilots from both Norway and the other partner countries. In 2017 he comes home to Orland with the first planes to lead the operational testing of the F-35 in Norway.

In 2017, the first Norwegian F-35 land Ørland airfield to begin preparations for the first operational capability of the new aircraft in 2019.

– A new era has begun

He emphasizes that today’s aircraft will be operated for many years, and that they must solve quests every day.

– F-16 era is not over yet, although the F-35 era has begun.

Training trip yesterday was the first of several that Hanche going through. The plan is that he will carry out such a training flight in a Norwegian F-35 before the New Year.
