[broom.no] Kia has spent a couple of weeks to give us little tidbits on a car that can really be a success in Norway. Now the official – and has debuted at the Auto Show in Chicago.
We are talking about concept car Kia Trail’ster which basically is hybrid, with both petrol and electric motor. But it is no secret that this will in all probability be a new edition of the electric car Soul Electric, with four-wheel drive.
It makes one Soul Electric even more attractive on the Norwegian market. Soul mark today with a little more range than most competitors, with distinctive design – and with favorable price tag.
Good old mackerel box solution on the roof.
So then also importer quota away on a snap. It quickly became long waiting lists, which Kia has partially managed to overcome by getting take into cars from other European importers.
But this can probably just be a taster. With four-wheel drive, the electrical Soul edition be perfect for many Norwegian electric car buyers. And it has no direct competitors.
Kia has given Trail’ster edition 6.5 centimeters extra ground clearance. It has also got a proper dose offroad styling, here it is fully focused on active lifestyle.
The concept car also has a fabric roof rolled backwards. Under the hood we find a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which works together with an electric motor on the rear wheels. Hybrid, ie. It is not known whether this solution will also come into production, or about Kia will focus only on electric version.
Kia has given the concept car’s character also inside.
Also inside Kia has given car character. Here it is much brown leather and aluminum. Kia says that the interior is inspired that skis and snowboard clothing.
The first electric vehicle with four-wheel drive on the Norwegian market is Tesla Model S D. The rolls right now in, and going to be a great success 2015.
How far away Kia is a four-wheel drive Soul Electric is not known, but technically there is hardly anything that makes this should take very long. (ANB)
An electric Soul-wheel really has sales potential on the Norwegian market.
