New million gift to UNN from Trond Mohn – iTromsø

This time, the generous Tromso friend not a specific amount, he will instead pay for equipment that will be attached to the new PET center at UNN.

Money for equipment

Mohn has previously given NOK 50 million for the construction of PET center – now he gives ie money to equipment.

Mohn itself justifies the gift as follows:

– This is equipment used in the study and research of including cancer. My motivation for giving money to this is to ensure that patients in the north will have an equally good medical treatment as patients in the rest of the country. It will also contribute to greater inspiration and training of expertise among employees, he said in a statement.

Hospital director Tor Ingebrigtsen is delighted that UNN can once again enjoy Mohn generosity.
