Your page LG takes a Motorola, and launches a round smart clock.

The name is G Watch R, and it is likely to Norway before Christmas. In their home country South Korea launched namely at Tuesday next week.

Coming likely to Norway this year

The reason we say probably is that LG can not with certainty confirm a launch, and therefore neither the date or price. From what we learned, the price still lie somewhere between 2,000 and 3,000 respectively.

Much of the reason for the somewhat uncertain launch strategy is that Android Wear, Google’s smart clock-OS is very fresh.

So fresh that Internet giant even want some control over the market this new product category will be “tested” in the first.

But this does not mean that LG is not interested in showing off what they have accomplished.

During a press conference Thursday this week was showcased an unfinished test specimen of at, and we tried it for a few minutes.

The first thing that struck us was how easy it is. reason is that most of it is wrapped in plastic – it is only clocks at the top which is made of metal.

It does not exactly feeling that this is an exclusive product, but again: This is intended as a consumer product for the masses, and not clock-feinsmeckere.

Although at essentially is a plastic product, it is still waterproof under IP67 standard.

IP67 guarantees that at no breaks when it is under a meter of water for max 30 minutes. The same standard also guarantees that it will not be damaged by dust.

What we like, and one point it switches Moto 360 when it comes to aesthetics for our personal taste, is that the clock is actually perfectly round.

Motorola can not boast the same with their product, then they have crammed into electronics in the lower part.

4 GB of storage, but …

The watch has four GB of internal storage, but for some reason we did not get explained, can not but apps are stored locally. Therefore, one must have a mobile phone if you want to hear music on the jogging.

It must really matter, at least if you want to take your course, for R Watch has no built-in GPS.

Smart time must be connected to the smart mobile phone (any Android phone with version 4.3 or later), to get such functionality. However this is the standard for smart watches today.

Also, Apple has gone for this solution, but with Apple Watch (February launch, at least in the USA), one can store music files locally, play music wirelessly with Bluetooth 4.0. (Source: Charlie Rose).

Questions like these we get enough answers to before the year is over, it is rumored namely that Google will host an Android press conference this month.

They have in fact a new mobile OS on the way too, with the working name Android L.
