New study has good news for chocolate lovers

Previously, researchers said that eating chocolate regularly can be both healthy and make you happier.
And now a new study shows that the dark goodies also helps to give you a smarter brain. According to new research is a regular consumption of chocolate associated with providing better cognitive function, writes The Telegraph.
The study is published in the journal Appetite and scientists argue inter alia that eating chocolate improves cognitive performance, independent of other dietary habits.
Improves memory
968 participants aged 23-98 years have taken a series of tests to measure cognitive function and the results show that more frequent chocolate consumption was significantly associated with better memory and organization, working memory and better abstract reasoning.
the study points out that more research is needed to explore the relationship between chocolate, cocoa containing flavonoids and cognitive function to understand more about the underlying causal mechanisms.
