[Teknofil.no] The new iOS 8.3 update was available overnight, which means you can download it to your iPhone or iPad now. This is a much bigger update than the one who came a month ago. Besides a number of bug fixes and performance enhancements, you also get access to several new Emoji.
What have received the most attention is that Apple finally has included several skin tones for more emoticons or icons. The Norwegian flag and other flags, as well as new Apple icons are also in place.
If you have not updated to iOS 8.3, and someone sends you one of the new icons, they will however be marked with alien symbols. In messaging app appears therefore original icons, with a rome creature icon next to it.
Total will be over 300 new emoji in iOS 8.3. Many of them are admittedly the same icon, just in five different skin tones, in addition to the standard yellow. Pressing one of these icons pops up a little box that allows you to choose the skin.
Besides the new Emoji should Apple have given operating their one real overhaul when it comes to performance and imperfections. Among performance enhancements provide the “keyboards from third parties”, which hopefully means that mobile søkefunksjon- and messaging app does not lock as often.
Otherwise, set that various imperfections related to, among other apps, WiFi, Bluetooth, messaging and Family Sharing should be fixed.
How to update to iOS 8.3:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone / iPad
- Press General
- Press Update
- Here it automatically searches the new update. Follow the instructions on the screen to install iOS 8.3. (ANB)
