Before you fly to the United States.

Apple products are a good deal cheaper in the United States, something that tempts many Norwegians to act when vacationing.
Radio transmitters are not identical
But it is not only just about trade one iPad WiFi + 4G or iPhone, and something happens, for these products have radio transmitters and they are not just around the world.
Different laws, different transmitters.
In yesterday’s article we received and the customer with a bent iPhone 6, know that Apple Norway does not accept service for an iPhone purchased in the US .
They referred us as to the US Apple Store store where the product was purchased.
A flight across the pond to repair a mobile? It becomes something in excess, it must then alternatives exist in Norway?
Eplehuset might help you
Sure, it might make it, but Apple Support Norway did not inform us that possibly several Norwegian shops including Eplehuset and service workshops, can help.
Many people have wasted countless hours to figure this out due to poor information.
Eplehuset, which Atea is namely an ASP (“Authorized Service Provider”) – trusted dealer.
You can find a list of service centers where you live at Apple (press “Service”).
This means that they are approved by Apple to perform local repairs, and they about required to submit the defective unit to Apple, so to receive an identical device from the company’s warehouse in the Netherlands.
Can not guarantee repair
We talked Eplehuset, and they can not guarantee service on an iPhone or iPad with a transmitter purchased in the US (have you bought one in China is the possibility about non-existent), but call an ASP workshop, and gives them the unique serial number of your particular mobile, they can investigate whether servicing.
You can find the serial number on the product escalate, or via the settings.
Uncertainty T-Mobile and Verizon
Have you purchased an unlocked iPhone from Verizon in the US, there is less possibility that Eplehuset can help you, but it’s worth hearing with them.
The same applies T- Mobile versions of Apple’s two newest iPhone models.
Do you know that an ASP shop in Norway can not perform repairs on your mobile or tablet, please contact the store where the product is purchased, be it a Apple Store or an operator chain in the US. You may be able return the product by mail. Shipping must probably pay yourself, but it’s cheaper than flying.
We also heard from an Apple customer who sent their product to an Apple Store in Swear after much back and forth in Norway and Apple in the United States, but according Eplehuset there is probably no difference on what service they can provide as ASP store, versus an official Apple Store.
