The Norwegian-developed app Widget Weather 1.2 (14 million) to iOS 8 supports animated weather icons but this Norwegian app is far more than a gimmick.

And it is probably alone to make, at least in writing.
Now hardly an animated sun in notification center the main (check out this gif one) for a weather app to have, but it’s a nice extra bonus – especially because this weather app also is quite good on the one thing it is made:

You can choose from several sources, and one of them is the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. When you get such good weather as it is possible to get in Norway.
We have long struggled with US weather apps that are very imprecise, especially those with widget. This app order in this frustration in a great way.
