– Norwegian Seafood Association has asked the Ministry of Fisheries to go through several of our research results from work done in Guddal river in Kvinnherad. We are of course open to that others will see us in the cards and have already invited NSL to come here with their experts so that together we can go through the data and results they are critical, says CEO Sissel Rogne in a message on the websites IMR.
Frode Reppe, Head of Communication and Public Affairs in the NSL, has issued strong criticism from a study of Guddal river in Hardanger, where an HI researcher stands as the first author. He has taken direct contact with IMR, but also come with criticism on Facebook. This week he sent a concern for Industry and Fisheries Ministry through the law firm Steenstrup Stordrange.
– IMR has had communication with the NSL in the case, and we have sent them all the documentation they have requested, emphasizes Sissel Rogne.
She will also take a new review of the department’s data in the case.
