PC gamers can secure one of only 10,000 copies of No Man’s Sky “Explorer’s Edition” which comes with a hand-painted model of the game’s spaceship.

Extremely ambitious

No Man’s Sky says players are free to explore countless planets and star systems and leave traces in the vast universe Hello Games has created. The game randomly generated planets offers a wealth of unique ecosystems, and according to the developer did not even have the list of all that is possible to discover.

Our writer recently received sample No Man’s Sky, and although he was left with a desire to play more he believed that the experience gave some distaste:

-Random that characterizes the experience on the ground is maybe a nice picture of how mysterious and wonderful it unknown in space probably is, but at the same time it probably a little too a lot of things to discover in No Man’s Sky. The speed you move the foot is markedly slow, and the shooting of minerals and aliens to gather resources are never quite as precise and interesting as it perhaps should be, wrote Espen Jansen.
