68 per cent of cottage owners in eastern has TV in the cabin. Of these, 54 percent running water.
TV is more important than running water in the cabin. And TV is almost as common in the cabin that power. It shows a recent survey conducted by Ipsos MMI.
77 percent of respondents who have addresses in Oslo, and who own or have access to the cabin, has namely TV in the cabin. For vestlendingene’s television holdings are at 80 percent, while 68 percent of those who have address in eastern has TV at the cabin. 76 percent of those living in Central Norway has TV in the cabin. Also 76 percent of those who have addresses in Northern Norway have TV in the cabin.
According to the survey, 84 percent of those who have addresses in Oslo, and has a cabin or access the cabin, running water cabin. 54 percent of those who have address in eastern have running water at the cabin. For those living on the west coast is the equivalent percentage of the 74, compared with 58 percent for those living in Mid-Norway and 59 percent for those who have addresses in Northern Norway.
It turns out, then, according to this survey, that for those living in eastern (minus Oslo), Western Norway, Central Norway and Northern Norway, as there are several who have TV in the cabin than having running water.
– This shows how important television has become for Norwegians. The priority obviously TV before investing in water at the cabin, says CEO Christian Birkeland RiksTV.
According to figures from TNS Gallup, as Norwegians over 12 years on average on TV in 172 minutes each day in 2014 . There was an increase of five minutes from the previous year. Those over 50 years as substantially more TV than those under 50 years.
The survey from Ipsos MMI shows that 87 percent of those living in the capital have electricity in their respective cabins around the country. 76 percent of those living in eastern has electricity in the cabin. Similarly, 86 percent of those living on the West Coast. Among those living in Central Norway has 77 percent power at the cottage. This figure is 67 percent for those who live in northern Norway.
