Apple confirms: working with self-driving cars – ITavisen.en

Ask about the similar rules as car manufacturers.

Now they have sent a letter to the u.s. government where they ask for similar rules as a traditional car manufacturers in a quest to create the best self-driving cars.

In the letter from the 22. November to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration asks Apple to the authorities not to inflict them too many restrictions in the testing of self-driving cars, and that the “established manufacturers and new entrants should be treated equally.”

Works with the machine learning
Furthermore, writes Steve Kenner, Apple’s director of produktintegritet, that Apple is working with machine learning and have plans for the car market:

the Company is investing heavily in studying machine learning and automation, and is enthusiastic for the potential for automated systems in many areas, including transport.
