The group will be chaired by Siri Halten, as the general manager Technology Council. Professor Kari Melby of NTNU professor Erik Arnold of Technopolis Group shall be members of the expert group.
– The Government has invested heavily in research. I am concerned that society should make the most high quality research. Therefore, we now convene an expert committee to look at that money is spent in the best possible way, says Minister Torbjørn Røe Isaksen (H).
The aim of the review is to increase the quality of research while reducing administration costs, the Ministry stated on its website.
