When Microsoft announced the Xbox One’s during the E3 conference in June, there were many who wondered who, if anyone, who would buy it, as the company also announced the stronger Scorpio-the console and the increased focus on the PC. The answer has proven to be very many, in each case in the united Kingdom.
MCV is reporting that the konsollsalget to Microsoft increased by a staggering 1000 per cent (989 percent week-to-week, if you want to be precise) at launch, and it has continued to go well. In the last week, for example, 71 percent of the consoles sold in the Uk an Xbox One, which is impressive for a console that has hanged a little after.
Sony has also released a slimmer console, but it does not seem to have had the same effect. In fact it was only 19 per cent of the sold consoles in the Uk last week a Playstation 4, and compared against the 2015, there is a decrease of 66 per cent. There are, of course, due to the fact that many are waiting on the Playstation VR and PS4 Pro, but we do not know until after respectively 13. October and 10. november when the two will be launched.
The british department of Microsoft has spoken out about the positive development, and it is the Xbox UKs marketing director, Harvey Eagle, who says the following:
“It is fantastic to see how popular the Xbox One S and FIFA 17 package is among the fans. Not just the last week, but ever since the launch of the Xbox One S in august. Both 4K video streaming and support for 4K blu-ray has been very well received, and we believe that those who want to upgrade your console its getting the most for your money with us.”
We are a bit surprised that the Xbox One’s has done so much for sales, but in return, there is a very good console.
