YouTube inn i-kampen Musikk – digi.no

The fact that Google has plans to build a full-fledged, subscription-based music service around YouTube has been talked about long, and Google itself has more or less confirmed this several times.

But now the YouTube Music Key official.

The service baked into existing Google Play Music, a Spotify-like subscription service which costs 99 dollars a month. The point is that the vast amounts of music found on YouTube has been difficult to get played if you’re not logged YouTube and plays the corresponding video.

With Music Key will be possible to play these YouTube songs even if you lock the screen on your device, switch to another application – or goes offline. Desired songs can be labeled with offline playback, and loaded it down. Playback will also be completely ad-free.

You will also see many official music videos directly into Google Play Music app.

Music Key will first beta tested and it is a bit unclear when the service is available in Norway.

In addition to the pay service is also common YouTube more music-focused. Already today get YouTube-front (as well as iOS and Android apps) a separate tab for music, where there is mixing based on the artists you’ve heard of, suggestions of other videos, list what you have seen in the past and generally popular video clips.

It will also be easier to hear the full album rather than individual tracks, with full discographies of various artists will be posted on YouTube, and be available for order, with videos and high-quality music available.

The market for musikkstrømming hotting up constantly, and when Google and YouTube are now properly path, everyday life can be problematic for smaller players. Now the question is only when Apple chooses to roll out its Beats-based flow solution.
