On Wednesday 7 September, Apple invited product launch in San Francisco. One of the most commonly repeated rumors over the past year is that Apple will ditch the current 3.5mm headphone jack on its next flagship model Iphone 7.
A choice that is so controversial that its main competitor Samsung could not restrain herself from doing fun of it. Now it also criticism from more unexpected sources.
As among others The Independent newspaper reports, has namely himself Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, entered the field with their own strong opinions about the persistent rumors.
Believes it will arouse great dissatisfaction
– If the phone lacks a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, it’s going to make many people angry, said Wozniak in an interview with the Australian newspaper Financial Review .
it has previously been assumed that the next Iphone phone simply will use the Bluetooth wireless standard instead of physically connected headphones, which Wozniak is not particularly excited about.
– I will not use Bluetooth. I do not like wireless. I have cars where you can either plug the music or go via Bluetooth and Bluetooth sound so flat out with the same music, continued Apple co-founder.
Will probably use Lightning standard
Wozniak’s probably not alone in being wary of a forced wireless solution, but many rumors have indicated that Apple will focus solely on Bluetooth. However should Apple apparently betting on their own Lightning-standard music listening.
This has also come “evidence” in the form of including a video that will show a few new Lightning earphones for iPhone 7. What we have in store from Apple we’ll probably know soon, as rumors have indicated the phone to go on sale on September 16.
