More processing power to Xbox One-developers? – Gamereactor Norway

It was recently confirmed that Microsoft has Xbox One stronger by improving the handling of console eSRAM, which developers say will lead to better performance. But according to a leak is not the only Microsoft has done.

Digital Foundry reports namely that Microsoft has added more processing power for Xbox One developers by giving them access to between 50-80 percent of seventh processor core. Just as with the Playstation 4 is two cores reserved operating system, but now developers can shut voice command and other Kinect features to get more power for other things.

It remains to be seen whether this will affect the games of Going forward, not to mention some will miss certain functions.
